Any unlawful bosmer anywhere?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:18 am

So, I'm trying to finish the quest for the crazy mage who thinks the Heart of Lorkhan is in the giant dwemer puzzle box in that iceberg. I have to collect the blood of all Mer. I've gotten everything but Bosmer just killing bandits and necromancers and such. So far, I've yet to run across a single unlawful Bosmer in Skyrim. Now, I mean, I realize they'd be rare in Skyrim, but, really? Have I just been unlucky so far and I just need to keep hitting more bandit camps and necromancer lairs?

Edit: Just today noticed a typo which I corrected. Not sure how heart became hearth lol. That'd be funny - you open up the puzzle box and there's a fireplace and some fresh baked bread in there lol.

All bosmer are unlawfully short.

But they tend to be bandit archers, I believe.
I got bosmer blood from a random bandit camp.

Only male Bosmer.

You're just unlucky, I've seen many Bosmer bandits.

You can find every blood sample you need except for the Dunmer in Alftand (y'know, the ruin you already cleared out to get the elder scroll in the first place?). The Bosmer is hidden in the jail cell when you first get to the Animonculory.

Hmm, I wonder if the bodies of the expedition members will still be there? Since they are already dead when you find them, I'm guessing they're static objects, unlike the normal bodies which get cleaned up very quickly? Well, I was planning to go back to get Falmer blood anyhow (I know there's other places to find falmer, but might as well head back there).

I tried to get a dragon to kill him but as soon he would go down without dying the dragon would ingore him. So I finally got fed up with it and killed him myself.

Bosmer Shop Keeper in Whiterun

Spoiler
There's also his brother that has a DB contract on him. If you have both quests at the same time you could kill one bosmer and get two stones.
