Racked up a $1500 Bounty

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 6:42 am

Is there any way other than paying the bounty, resisting arrest, or going to jail to lose your bounty? I wasn't too worried about it when it happened because I assumed I could just use the Thieves Guild to get out of it, but it seems you can't just pay off your bounty with them as in previous games.

Pay it. 1,500 is not a lot of money.

You can pay off your bounty with he Thieves Guild, but only with certain/random guards.

Paying it off with the authorities just seems lame. The leader of the Dark Brotherhood murders the emperor and gets off scott free for the paltry sum of 1500 septims? Too lame. I think I'll just sneak around and massacre anyone that tries to detain me, because I'm saving the thieves guild questline for another playthrough

Mine is 2140 gold.

Have no idea where/when and why that happened. I guess I'll find out when I go to some town and all the guards come running over lol.

If he was any good, there'd be no witnesses and no bounty.

1500? please, my record is 7020. My suggestion is that you just keep killing guards until there is no-one left to fine you.

I'm with the guild so when I get caught pick pocketing I only have to pay 12 instead of 25

Cheers

There weren't, I killed everyone. Unfortunately as it turns out, one of the people I killed was essential. I saw them pop back up as I was diving into the water, figured it wouldn't register as a bounty. It did.

I think theres a perk in speech in lets you bribe the guards, but im not sure if that will help you if you already have a bounty.

Primarily, if there is some way to pay off the bounty with an organization such as the Thieves Guild, but it seems not. The thread served its purpose, I know I'm just going to have to carve up a few guards now.

Kill all witnesses?

That don't work, well not for me. I had a mad half hour, I firebombed a chicken in Riverwood and got attacked, just started killing and a message came up saying all eyewitnesses were dead. I went in to the inn and that [censored] Delphie started to attack me.

You're not confused. You're just been difficult and should not reply to this thread if you have nothing useful to add.
