I have decided to start this thread because to me Skyrim has a lot flaws and I would like to point out those flaws.

1 : The Main Quest
The main story is a flaw. So your this legendary hunter of dragons that can use their own language against them and you go on a long quest. The thing is it's not long at all and the final fight with Alduin is quite disappointing. Once you've finished the main quest no one seems to care if your the Dragonborn or not. In morrowind once you've completed the main quest you were recognized as the savior of morrowind and in Oblivion you were given the title of Champion of Cryodill. In comparison the Dragonborn is a complete pushover.

2 : Shouts
Since you are the Dragonborn you get to use these things called Shouts which are supposed to be great and powerful . But Unfortunately are nothing more than extra spells that use a cooldown timer rather than Magicka.

3 : The Guilds
The Guilds are awful in Skyrim. The questlines are too short and the plots are uninteresting. You become head of whatever guild your in way too fast and don't feel like you earned your title.

4 : Crafting
The Crafting in Skyrim is just plain bad. You have to invest feat points in order to make better stuff rather then having to find recipes like in Fallout 3. The crafting is so bad I decided to reroll my char because I felt I wasted to many feat points in crafting.

5 : The Artifacts
The artifacts in Skyrim have been completely nerfed. For example the Mace of Molag Bal has exactly the same damage as a daedric mace. It should have been way higher.

Well I don't think you should have made it, the reason being is that there is already 20 threads a day on the same subject, you could have easily used one of those.

No offense of course, Its just annoying seeing these forums filled with no other subject other that "Help! my game is broke"

I was referring to the points you spend to get feats.

I'm pretty sure you're referring to perks.

The only thing I agree with on your list is the thing about the guilds. The guilds are WAY too short. Guild questlines should have a lot of quests that are required to move through different ranks, and eventually get to the top. As far as I know, there are like 5 quests and 2 ranks in every guild.

The light show is very good though, you might admit.

I too agree with you about the Guilds. Never felt like I ever really earned to be Harbinger of the Companions, etc, etc.

I really feel like we should convince the mods to sticky this, just so they can lock all the new complain topics. If they let that topic run free we’ll be to page 999 in no time.

1 : How would people know you're Dragonborn? By cellphone-image?

2 : Shouts do different things that spells don't. I used shouts all the time on my warrior character.

3 : I don't feel the plots are uninteresting. But you are undeniably right about the rest!

4 : It's an attempt to make you sacrifice perk points for the ability to smith better weapons and armors. Smithing is poor enough in this game. Finding recipes instead of costing perk points would only make your character more OP.

5 : I find it very good that artifacts are not so powerful as it has always been way to easy finding artifacts in TES.

This is all in my opinion of course and I am not claiming to be a 100% right

The only guild I did not really enjoy mainly due to it being to short and poorly scripted and rushed at the end was the College, I felt it started with promise and just failed to deliver. I loved the Thieves guild and DB, the Companions could have been better but could have been worse. I have yet to finish the MQ as I tend to drag things out. I love some of the radiant quests that I have come across while wandering Skyrim some of those are killer.

Yeah, the shouts are kinda unspectacular. Aura whisper is the only one I use regularly.

I discovered the true uselesness of shouts in Cidhna mine, when I was stripped of all my belongings. I wanted to defeat Madanach and his followers. Being a 2-handed warrior, magic and the available one-handed weapons in the mine were of liitle use to me. So I turned to shouts to save me. But found they were of no use at all. I finally managed to defeat Madanach with a bound sword: my very poor magic and 1-handed skiils did the job my whole arsenal of shouts couldn't.

Collecting shouts is pleasant but you might as well collect postage stamps.
