I have 19 Words of power learned and 7 unlocked (what the infor in the games says. But the only ones i can use are the Unrelenting Force (have all 3) and Whirlwind Force and no others. It says i have 13 Shouts learned with 3 unlocked. I have killed 22 Dragons and have gotten 21 Souls so what gives how do i get to use the others that i have. I just do not understand this.

You have to actually unlock each word by using a Dragon Soul. Square button on PS3. "A" button on Xbox maybe. PC...just use the console command we don't like y'all.

if your on ps3 you press square to unlock them by spending one of your dragon souls, if your on xbox press X or B, if your on comp i have no idea what button sorry.

Step 1: unlock shout
Step 2: equip shout
Step 3: profit

It's the E key on PC, or Enter.

NP - I had the same problem.

Go to the shouts pick one then press x botton.

I didn't realize at first you had to unlock each word with a dragon soul... not just the shout itself. I had collected all 3 of some shouts but only had the first word unlocked for awhile.

Yeah, this is really confusing. The game never really explains the process; it just gives you Fus without you having to do anything.

I don't think anyone realize it at first I know I didn't.
