Better Daedric Weapons, a texture mod

There were a few things regarding daedric weapons that didn't sit well with me like leather handles and steel blades. In previous games Daedric was made out of two material, metamorphic ebony and some sort red stuff.

In Skyrim, you can smith Daedric, justifying the low grade materials like leather and steel, however -- there isn't anything handmade looking about daedric armor in Skyrim; It looks like it came from hell.

So far I've drawn the textures for the one-handed sword.

The highlights are too strong, so im gonna rework the spec maps. With that aside, I'd like to know what the community thinks and if there are any similar mods that do this same thing.

I think I see the difference. I haven't played (don't use) with Daedric weapons really. I've seen them, though. These textures look much more polished and sharper than the originals. I like it. It looks like Daedric metal and not some plastic blur.

Just a suggestion, maybe take brighter pictures (turn off ENB settings temporarily) so I can get a better look at them. I'd like to look at it some more. I have a thing for textures.
