[REQ] Classic Elderscrolls HUD

The guys on the Skyui team did an amazing job with the UI but one part is left critically missing, the HUD. I like that bethesda wanted to make the HUD as minimally intrusive as possible but it suffers from the same short comings that the rest of the UI did. Namely, that while it does mostly hide away when not in use. When it is in use, it is very intrusive and cumbersome to navigate. The original HUD, with the health, magicka and stamina bars arranged on the far left corner and the compass in the bottom center of the screen would be much better as all of the information would be avaliable at a glance instead of spread all over the screen. Likewise, a compass on the botton of the screen would be far less intrusive than a compass on the top. As I play the game, everytime I see a HUD element, I am briefly taken out of the game. I know that mods like iHUD exist, and while it does a great job at finishing the job bethesda started, it still follows the same rubric. The closest I've found would be icepenguin's ipHUD, which shrinks all of the elements down and arranges them in a proper position, but the health bar still depletes from the center and enemy health and other information is still displayed on the top of the screen. Is this hard coded into the game or is it possible to change these features, paticularly the health bar? I have little to no experience in programming flash and .swf files but I would be willing to try and learn in order to fix this but I don't really know where to start.

This might be what you're looking for: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2938

The bars on the left aren't in the same order as previous games, but if you're enterprising enough with a Flash / Actionscript editor, you can reposition them.
