Something Different: Help "Skyrimizing" My Avatar!

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 12:14 pm

This might be a long shot, but I'm thinking of making one of my Skyrim characters, Arch-Mage Sinerinde, pose as the legendary 3rd era Telvanni Archmagister Nelacayne... This would pretty much be possible because Staff of Magnus and Masque of Clavicus Vile are both in the game.

The problem really is the robes. Do you know if there are robes anywhere similar to http://images.uesp.net/6/6b/MW-npc-Senise_Thindo.jpg (Exquisite Robe / Robe of the Drake's Pride) in Skyrim? In case there isn't, is there a good clothing mod that would add the kind of jacket? I'm not fully satisfied with the amount and quality of "wizardy" clothes in this game...

Edited to be a bit less spoilery...

You could try http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-npc-Quaranir.jpg

But other than console, it is accesible through the

College questline when you meet up with the Psijic member. I havent been to that part yet though.

If on PC, here is the Robe list:

Mmh, looks good. I thought of the Psijic robes, but I believe there's a problem. If they are hooded, I can't wear it the same time I wear Vile's Masque. :/

I also checked the clothes page from UESPWiki, but didn't bother to google every robe separately. :P So I just thought of making this topic just for funz, if any of you had some instand ideas without all the searching the internet.

I ended up wearing an Exquisite Robe because Robe of the Drake's Pride is a rather good constant effect enchant. Gotta agree it's not the most beautiful. Guess my egocentric wizards also just want to wear expensive clothes... and suffer from it a lot in the aesthetic department. :shakehead:

Guess I have to try Psijic Robes with console and see if they come without hoods... I certainly didn't acquire one in the College quest line! Might've if I

As for Quaranir, no, he is essential.

If you refer to the starting post, I actually removed a major MORROWIND spoiler there.

Otherwise I think the thread belongs here... I'm looking for kind of "Skyrim hints" after all.

Ah, I had that one as well. Whoops...

So, do you think it looks Nelacayne enough? I really can't decide.

Well I haven't paid much attention to what robes we actually get in Skyrim but comparing the two it looks about as close as it'll get!

I'm also missing Wraithguard... Off to search some right-handed Dwemer glo- oh, right, gloves only come in pairs.

Haha, this goes well! The board is telling me "Failed to set a new photo". I thought I had to remove the old avatar first. Still "Failed to set a new photo". So now I'm without any avatar! :goodjob:

Once I can up / import a new avatar again, the intended picture is http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/1630/sinerindenelacayne.png, with some more cropping if necessary to zoom it a little.

Exquisite robe and colovian fur helmet gave an demoralize effect in Morrowind.
The Psijic robes looks very good in comparison, only weakness is the rain coat feeling.
