DLC content?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:36 pm

This is my first Elder Scrolls game, so I was wondering from past experience of the previous TES games when will the first DLC be released (I'm no where near finished so I'm not moaning that I want it now), how many there will be and the time spacing between them, the pricing ( I'm on PS3), and types of content ( I want more horse armour!!!). I have both FO3 and FONV so would I be correct in assuming they will be similar to the DLCs released for those games ie out of map areas which contain extra in game items and perks with an increased level cap? If you know where I could find this info a link would be received with thanks! :)

I think the DLC will be more like expansions but I could be wrong seen as though they contradicted themselves pre-release over this issue. I wouldn't bank on see it for atleast 3-4 months as they still have tons of patching to do with things like quests bugs and PS3 FPS issues. Also the DLC will be a 30 day exclusive I believe to Xbox 360.

Hopefully it wont be long. I know bethesdas time with skyrim is mostly spent on fixing bugs as far as im aware, so itll probably be longer than normal. Bet they shall get here ....

Tribunal came out six months after Morrowind. Bloodmoon came out one year and one month after Morrowind. Oblivion's only expansion, Shivering Isles, came out 11 months after Oblivion.

Tribunal came out six months after Morrowind was released. Bloodmoon came out seven months later (or one year and one month after Morrowind was released). Oblivion's only expansion, Shivering Isles, came out 11 months after Oblivion was released.

Obviously with the releases you've been through you have a better idea, but I reckon they might get them out earlier especially with how many units this has sold compared to previous titles. They'll want to milk the fan base and new players for money fast before they lose interest.

Well considering horse armor should have already been out, it's hard to say. But yes, I unfortunately have to agree with the 3-4 month estimate.

From what I heard Bethesda said the DLC will "have a lot of meat on them"

Does everyone think that the DLC has yet to be made? Do they really just pump this out in the few months after release. Bethesda: Ok people lets throw together some DLC so we can milk the $$ out of these dimwits. I don't think so, its all planned out from the start. We're not talking about a lemonshack on a corner during a sunny sunday afternoon.

More then likely has had a team working DLC pre-launch, being that most DLC is preplanned. If a game does well it might get more.
