hi guys,...

at some point after finishing a quest, the quest giver said something like "come back in a week or so and i'll..",..

i cant remember who said it or where but i can swear it happend, but i could be going crazy,...

does anyone know if this happens and if so, where?

I know theres a quest for the guy in the college library who tells you to come back after a day or two, who gives you a reward...

Welcome to the forum. The come-back-in-a-day/week thing happens ever once and awhile. Drove me to pen and paper notes! Retrace your journey maybe?

dang... too bad, i sure wish id remember... i think it was a female character too? oh well..

The only one I know of is the guy at the college library.

I know the one lady aim Riften who cannot remember everything says come back in a week.

You can also look at your completed quests in your quest log to jog your memory. Even if it's later down the road eventually you should talk to her again. I always speak to people that I have already talked with because you never know if they will have a new quest or not. Sometime npc's will have no quest then once you do something for someone else or reach a certain point a quest will pop up with them. This happens at the college a few times.

Sorry I just can't remember more. I know that Riften lady has you run around finding her stuff she has misplaced and then once you find the items the misc. quest ends and she says come back in a week after she gets everything together.
