So I was wandering around exploring like a normally do, when I get attacked by a sabre cat. Killed kitty, looked around, and it seems like he feasted on a couple of travelers. Further investigation concludes they are a runaway couple and he stashed some money in a tree in the hills behind a mine. WHERE IS THIS TREE?!?!?!?!

It's not random, it's a set site (near Markarth someowhere IIRC). The tree is nearby. IIRC, it's the only tree nearby. I certainly found it within seconds.

It is a big stump of a tree over by the bedroll. Look there.

I think it's north of the mine near Karthspire.

I found it haha. Thanks guys, oh and its in the hills behind an inn in the wilderness. I think its old hroldar inn or something like that. I'll comment back to let you know exactly where when I get back on the game.
