Dual Wielding and Enchanting

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 1:24 pm

I want to make a dual wield character and milk the maximum amount of damage out of my enchantments. I know that two ranks of dual flurry and a steady use of power attacks will net me the most attacks per second, thus the most enchantment damage per second. To ensure a steady stream power attacks, I want to put an absorb stamina enchantment on one of my two weapons. What I was wondering was which weapon should I put it on? In a power attack sequence, does one weapon get the final hit? I wanted to dual wield a mace and a sword so I want to get the stamina effect on the right weapon so I don't have to switch hands and slow my attack speed.

Weird thing is I just did that yesterday...
But Here is my lay out
- Full DragonScale Armor
- Dual Wielding Daedric War Axes
- Full Perks in Light Armour, Most Perks in One-Handed, Enchanting, Smithing.

At the end I was set up with 450-500 dmg with Dual Wielding with max bleeding dmg with enchantments for Fire (40 dmg) and Paralyze (1 sec)

But to the to the Power Attack question, both attack at the end. If you have Daggers its the right one.

The best attack is the critical charge attack. I'm dual wielding double legendary Daedric Blades with Fire, Paralyzing, Storm and Soul Catch enchantments. I mean, I hardly have to swing my blades to kill someone LOL It's my first character and yes, she is also wearing the Dragonscale armor with 2 enchantments on each piece and hammered to uber legendary LOL And of course I'm wearing various fortify one handed enchanted items.

Now, I haven't logged in to her in ages, but I did some insane damage towards the end. Enchanting, Smithing, Light Armor, 1-H all at 100, although I didn't take the Paralyzing perk in 1-H, since my alchemy is also 100 and I can make Paralyzing potions en masse.

The power attack comes from the weapon you use. I'm right handed, so I tend to hold down the mouse button for the right handed power attack 90% of the times. You can get a power attack with your left hand though, if you hold down the other button.
