I tried looking for another thread with this issue but did anyone experience horrific framerate during the Imperial Civil War quests? It's weird because I did the Stormcloak quests first and didn't experience a single problem but then I wasn't happy with my choice so I reverted my save and joined the Imperials. When I was with the Imperials the framerate was unplayable. Literally about 1 frame or 2 frames per second. Especially when fighting over the forts... Anybody else experience this?

Ps3. That's why I find it weird. I guess it just can't handle it.

well early on ps3 had some issues with saves getting too big and the game glitching when it hit a certain size but i believe they patched that. is it just the imperial side of the quest line that does that or is it all quests now? if it happens with all quests i'd guess you have a similar issue to the save file getting too big. is your game patched up?

That's a very common problem with PS3 users. The game is bugged and framerate drops to unplayable levels. I've heard the latest patch fixed that, are you using that?
If that doesn't help, look around the internet, I've seen some workarounds that helped some people.

1.3 was supposed to take care of that but according to the 1.4 release notes it didn't -Long term play optimizations for memory and performance (PS3)
