I have no idea what I have done wrong, but Riften hates me ant tries to kill me on sight. They don't even try to take me to jail. And now I can't finish my quest because I can not get into the city! Any idea what may be wrong?

Also things to think of:

Did you kill anyone recently?

Have you completed "Escape from Cidna mine" ?

Have you been on a killing spree and left whitnesses to rat you out to the Guards? Check your stats to see what your Bounty level is for The Rift. If its up over 1000 you will be Wanted Dead or Alive.

Nah I've been arrested well over 1k.



If you leave the hold area then come back you can pay yor bounty but most likely haha is right. You can either google how to get rid of it or post in spoiler section and we will tell you.

According to the game guide, if you have a big enough bounty, it says to leave the hold and wander in the wilderness for a couple in game days and a bounty collector will find you and let you pay of your debt to society. It says to keep moving and not to just wait for him.

To get rid of stage 4, not sure on all names.

You need to feed 1st
Go to morthal talk to wizard he will tell you need filled black gem, you can buy spell and gem from him.
Go fill gem with human soul return to wizard.
He will tell you to meet him in swamp.
Make sure you kill the mud crab near ritual site or he will forget about your ritual and fight crab.
Meet him and do ritual.

Or easier way go feed then go to any shrine.

Well I am not a vampire and I have no bounty. The only people that I have killed are the people who attack me. So I guess I will try the wandering around thing/.

He'll never show if you don't have a bounty.

I don't get why they'd attack you if there's no bounty and you haven't done anything wrong. There's no reason other than you having a glitch in your game.

The patch went live today and every thing is fine now.
