Tnx, There's now two reasons to be a werewolf. The Companions questline AND disease resistance. I'm using a new character and she's becoming sick at least once every game session. lol

i have never seen an advantage to being a werewolf.

It slows down your leveling, becaue you don't get Well rested and Lover's comfort bonuses. If anything it should be done, after your finished leveling up or leveling doesn't matter anymore.

Being a werewolf kicks ***, I never even go near a bed anyways when I was normal.

I caught rockjoint from a trap while I was still afflicted with lycanthropy, so there may be a bug with the "100% disease resistance."
I found the experience of being a werewolf to be underwhelming otherwise as well, though I did enjoy the questline.

Maybe just a glitch in your game, 100% means 100%.

You can use the Lover's Stone, which game-mechanics-wise provides a permanent Well Rested benefit (and thus doesn't stack with other Well Rested benefits). It still works for werewolves.

You also sell your soul to Hircine. So have fun with that.

If they can cure Kodlak after death they can cure you to.

Slowng down leveling isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The whole werewolf thing was pretty meh for me. Plus, in two trips through the thing I never could get the temple thingy to take the witches head so that I could ditch being a werewolf. I did the initial quest that makes you Harbinger. So I tried to cure myself and it didn't work. So I cured Farkas; still didn't work. Vilkis was next; still didn't work. The fountain thing (whatever it's called) would never prompt me to drop a witches head for my own sake, only other people.

I cured Farkas and Vilkas but not myself because I needed to start a new game. Provided you have the witch head in your inventory the flame font thing should have an Activate (E) come up when your cursor is on it. That is, if you are on a PC.

Hm, I never had any resistance to disease when not in werewolf form. I think the 100% resistance is only when you are in werewolf form. But how often is that when fighting wolves and skeevers?

IMO, being a werewolf is totally overrated. I prefer the rest bonus.
