PC - GOTY XBOX360 - GOTY PS3 - NOT NOMINATED! GAMESPOT

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:24 pm

Haha this irk's me because I have a fully capabale computer and an XBOX 360, but I decided to get the game for PS3 because it is my preferred system!

Although I haven't had any of the dreaded "lag issues" yet I know they will come eventually and I think that is part of the reason I don't play it too much.

Anyways congrats to the dev's for making the game of the year for 2 systems. Maybe next time just don't release it on PS3 and I'll smarten up and get the PC version!

To be honest, I never get multiplatform games on the PS3. Skyrim is the new flavor of the month but there were problems with Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Mass Effect 3 and Fallout 3 as well. And these are just the games I actually played.

If it's multiplatform, I go Xbox every time.

I wouldn't trust anything that gives world of warcraft a better score then skyrim

Wait, you had the choice to buy Skyrim for the PC, and you passed it up for a console?

Not that I have some sort of console hate or anything, but really; Elder Scrolls games are so much better on the PC, if for no other reason than the existence of mods and the command console.

World of Warcraft is a masterpiece. It's not my type of game and I don't play it, but it definitely deserves to be considered as one of the greatest games ever made. I don't have any statistics but it has to be the most profitable game of all time.

My couch is just so much more comfy than my computer chair. However in retrospect I definitely regret the decision.

Was a master piece, till they destroyed it in the name of simplification, to draw in casuals.

Worked though....

World of Warcraft was one of the greatest games ever. It eventually started going down the toilet, but during the BC era the game was AMAZING.

Oh man. I just had some serious nostalgia going on thinking about Burning Crusade. There's something just fun having you and your bro (literally) against dozens of enemy players, and just when you start losing ground, some of your friends swoop down and join the fight, and 5 of you are standing on around 13 players bodies.

There were some good fights... good fights.

Skyrim has yet to provide any epic gaming moments for me, and I've put in hundreds of hours. It is a fun game, but it just lacks in the epic department, even though Skyrim's hype was basically that it was "epic".
