Sleeping with Spouse

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:28 pm

Hello,

i married Jordis and we reside in Marketh. How do I get her to sleep with me? I can order her to sleep, but when i go to get in the bed, she gets up. Also, how can I change her clothes? I took all her armor but she still is wearing it. I would like her to wear a nice dress around the house.

Thank you

You can't change her clothes unless you use the console, and even then it will reset every time you or her leave the house. There is no "sleeping together"; she could be downstairs eating bread and you should still get the "lover's comfort" bonus.

Haha. You can't get your wife to sleep with you in Skyrim. The game won't go that far. It's a video game not a six simulator.

I don't think that's true, actually. They have to be in the bed.

NPCs keep odd hours. I have to come in late at night to catch Farkas sleeping. Even then he seems to stay up for days sometimes.

Fallout did a good job with the scene blanking out and the moaning. svcks we can't do it in Skyrim. After all, what's a warrior without a brief break from time to time?

Nope. It works no matter what. I have several characters married to different NPC's, and they all give lover's comfort even if they're not in bed.

Well maybe it's a bug then, but I only get Well Rested when Farkas is off lollygagging.

This. If you need hot coffee try another game. If this is your best possible beating material then LOL, just LOL.

Dont let the guards find out, you can be arrested for lollygagging.
I may have to use the console for Lydia, or find somebody else, Preferably somebody who doesnt have a bunch of war paint. Maybe Jordis

Just activate the Lover's Stone. Really leveling is so fast anyway that I don't often bother.

Yep. Marriage is often bugged if you ask your spouse to move in with you. When my main character got married, he wasn't getting Lover's Comfort so then he asked her for them to move into her old place. Once that happened, he got Lover's Comfort from her. I moved them back to Breezehome and Lover's COmfort carried over. Try this, but if it doesn't work then I don't know what else you can do, bud.
