Has anyone commanded a follower to activate a guardian stone? If someone has, does it give the follower the appropriate power or active effect?

I don't think that the Mage, Warrior, Thief, or Lover stones would be of much help if they do get the power or effect.

According to the in game book "Watcher of the Stones", this should not work. But I have not tried it myself.

I commanded one to activate it, and it didn't do anything. At least, as far as I know. No flashy lights, nothing.
