I, like many others have the problem of not being able to start the quest. My wicked Susanna is still alive, hence no body in the graveyard, and Viola is also still alive and pestering the captain. i have tryed all the other ways of starting this quest like getting into Hjerim and picking up pampletes, dont work. Ive done the quest Liberate Falkreat hold to get to buy the Hjerim home, cus that should start the quest, but the steward wont sell the house to me cus of the "mess in there", so this dont work either. ive tryed all the console cheats ive could find but still nothing will give me or start the quest or just finishing it without me doing it, so i can just get the house whitch is really all i want, with no blood in it ofc.
After trying all this ive now found out that the woman who was killed in my 1. or 2. visit to the stables, a dragon killed her not me, was Arivanya. Im guessing this must be the reason for the quest to not start but i dont see why. Shouldnt this system, dont remember the name, do so that if she is dead it will respawn a new NPC to take her place?
