Overwriting save games

There really needs to be a better interface (Bethesda games in general) for save games. It should not be possible to overwrite another character's save game while playing a different character. It's way too easy to accidentally overwrite a main character save with a lesser character.

Yes, I understand have multiple saves, etc... blah blah blah, but it would be so easy to have a bit more common sense in the interface. Only the save games for the character you are playing should show up in the list.

I agree. I prefer to name each saved game myself for the reason of keeping my different character's saved games separate from each other. And I don't use quick saves for that reason. Also, a few weeks ago I saw a thread where it was mentioned that quick saves overwrite previous quick saves, and that it will/can eventually corrupt the save files.

And how about that numbering system. I'm already into over 4000 saved games - a few more months and I'll be over 10k - hope that won't cause any issues.

Maybe someone will mod it. We know Bethesda won't.

IMO the Saves folder should have subfolders named after characters, where that particular character's saves are kept.
