70 Hours + and still not find onion.

The people of Skyrim have not yet discovered the onion, or simply do not grow. I can not imagine cooking the soup of vegetables without adding onions.

Actually I do not know what to do. Died some time with my main character and I lost interest in him. What to do to have the courage and will to create a new character and play all those missions again.

It's in the same family, but it's a different vegetable. As for restarting, roll a different class and do different quest lines.

Onions are like ogres. They have many layers.
Nords don't like ogres, so why would they take a chance with onions?

I don't think the game has onions. It's quite weird since I don't think there are climatic reasons for not adding them...

Roleplay. I played 110 hours with a Khajiit thief, and have done everything 'big' in the game - guilds, daedric quests, main quest, etc. After leaving it for a few days, I decided to play a 'hardcoe' character. Stuck the difficulty up to Master, removed all subtitles, reduced HUD opacity to 50%, removed the crosshair, and ventured forth.

My character is an old Orc, sent from his tribe due to his age. He has come to Skyrim to maintain his skill in combat, and to earn riches through the sweat on his brow and the warhammer in his hands. The difference between this character and my previous one is that, because I'm not obliged to do anything major, I haven't. I haven't done a single quest in seven hours of gameplay. I came out of Helgen, marched straight to Whiterun and took a cart to Windhelm. After selling everything I didn't need, I hunted on the plains of Eastmarch until my combat skills were sufficient for dungeon diving.

Knowing I couldn't go alone, and having earned enough money, I enlisted the help of the big Nord warrior Stenvar to come and delve dungeons with me. We've been exploring the area surrounding Windhelm for something like an in-game fortnight - we've just made the long walk from Windhelm to Dawnstar, at one point engaging in seven man combat between a hoard of Ice Wraiths and me, Stenvar and a passing Khajiit caravan.

Basically what I'm getting at is try and get involved with what you're doing, instead of an 'Go to A, kill/take B, return to C' mindset. Try not to fast-travel, try and create a character behind whatever weapon you're holding, and try and play realistically as opposed to the Murderboss Deathking that Bethesda encourages you to be. Once you do, you'll find yourself rewarded - I'm so into my current game I've spammed you with three paragraphs that you probably don't care about just because I'm enjoying myself so much. :P
