Problems for an interior decorator.

I spent hours decorating my house in Oblivion and I've been trying to do the same in Skyrim. The only problem, as many of you guys are aware, is that items you try to place in your house go back to their original drop point once you leave and come back. There seems to be little consistency to it. But usually it will stay if you keep moving it back. Also, the grab function, as its been mentioned many times, absolutely svcks. I just don't know why they would have changed it. I understand they were trying to make it easier but they should have allowed us to rotate the object and not made it so that it moves the first time we "pick it up" into a standard position.

Any shot that a patch fixes at least the items and where they go once placed? I don't expect the drag tool to be fixed.

I don't think they're going to fix it. There will probably be a mod for that if someone is inclined to make one.

Unfortunately, I doubt it's a priority for Bethesda. :(

I dunno, they fixed interior issues related to the Phsics in earlier games. Perhaps they will in this game too. TBH, I have given up decorating my homes in these games since Oblivion. However, Fallout New Vegas was much better for this, so I have hope. If the editor was out, I could see if it is a setting for the cell that can be changed.

In the meantime, it all gets thrown in a chest.
