Shield Wall and Bash work with 2H, and bash is especially devastating.

I'd say, since 2H generally block less damage than shields, they will benefit more from Shield Wall than actual shield...

The initial perks work with 2h/1h weapons but most of the perks after that require a shield. BTW, just increasing your block skill by itself will also help you deflect more damage from attacks (non magical). So, increasing block isn't entirely useless for a 2h user but it shouldn't supercede anything else in your build if you're going for pure melee type.

If you plan on playing master difficulty you would be better served paying the most attention to 2h/heavy armor/smithing while not trying to gain points in many other skills if you can help it.

The one that slows down time when blocking a power attack is really cool I think. Lots of fun with a 2 hander.

As per the guide. One side of the perk tree is for shield, the other for weapon block/parry.

I had a 2H orc who took the middle perk and the right side of the tree, worked a treat.
