*No MQ playthrough*

Anyone else playing or going to a character like this?

I just made a new character and i'm going to try this. I think it would be very rewarding from the roleplaying point of view.

I haven't touched the MQ yet so I guess I am.

Waiting on the CK for one like this... there's too many cool things tied to the main quest not to progress at least a bit into it. I would like to see alternate storylines made available, which is what the modding community is just chomping on the bit for.

I always look for points in the main quest that my character could concieveabley take a long long time to complete if there weren't arrows everywhere.

I walked up to the top of Hrothgar, and then when they told me to find that dude's tomb I simply forgot they told me where it was, and have been RPing that instead, they said: "You need to find the tomb, but it's been lost for generations" so my guy and his companions have been wandering around like a mid 90's Sam Rami show duo, solving mysteries, getting into fights, and occasionally slaying dragons.

That is exactly what I am doing right now. Mainly because I was sick to death of the over grown cliff racers killing half the people in open towns I went to all the time. I am actually having more fun exploring without the constant spawns everywhere I go.

I'm level 36 and I just turned in the dragon stone for my first dragon fight. The dragon roasted me in one breath attack, so much more challenging when you start it off late.

Of my 4 current characters, 2 will never touch the MQ.
Not having dragons killing named townsfolk is a good thing. :lightbulb:

90 hours in spread out between three characters and still haven't completed the MQ. I've played Morrowind and Oblivion for 500+ hours each and only beaten the MQ's once each.
