yah, i dont feel you will get many positive posts, other than mine. i dont have any game breaking bugs or glitches, yes there is the lag, sometimes. and everyonce in a while after it loads there is a low texture issue, but it goes away, and good to go. what would make a save file get so big? i am quite a bit over 150 some odd hours, and level 30, and i have about a 7.5 or 8 mb save file?

Patch 1.2 helped a bit but in both fallout 3 and skyrim as soon as my savefile hit 11mb I had lag. Oblivion that was ported by another company ran fine for me.

I've had serious issues, and each time I just start a new character to play while I wait for the next patch. I love this game.

I think what makes the save file go up is affected by how much [censored] you've killed, how much you've explored and how many quests you've done. Also the amount of stuff you have in your house and inventory affects it a little too.

I haven't had many problems either, of course there has been a few freezes (I think four since the game came out). On my first character which I've played on for a little over 80 hours has an 11mb save file. There is some noticeable lag after an hour or two of playing when I'm walking around in Whiterun, and some random stutters here and there when I'm exploring. Nothing major. It didn't lag at all when (inb4civilwarspoiler)
Spoiler
I was taking over Solitude after playing for nearly two hours
.

When I do play for around 4-5 hours in a row (something I rarely do) on my battlemage (about 20 hours in and a ~7k save file) I do notice the lag getting more annoying as I roam large cities.
As I've said before; I guess I was lucky.

On the character I tried to keep the save file down by altering my playstyle the game isn't that bad

but my first characte level 30 40 hrs in 8 mb I get the 1 frame per 3-5 second slideshow

Not had may issues at all, I was wondering if only a small percentage were having problems and it was just getting blown out of proportion. Saying that I've had a few small problems with the 1.3 patch, EG can't equip the same weapon from my favorites menu. But not had any lag.

But this is a newer slimline model that I had to buy this year after NV killed my other one, and I know people say there is no evidence but a game crashing every hour so bad I have to hard reset can't be good for you console. So I reckon my old phat would have had problems as it was a 2nd generation model.

But no bad problems as yet.

~70 hours played, almost level 30. Save file is ~6kb. All auto-saving turned off.

No lag, no bugs, no freezes.

I realize some are affected by lag, bugs and freezing, but the scope of it across the entirety of the ps3 player base is difficult to ascertain. Squeaky wheel and all.

OP, I understand what you're trying to do here. Counteract all the negativity, and whatnot. It's a worthy goal.

That said, nothing positive should be said about the PS3 port of the game. The most positive thing I can offer about it is that it exists, and that its more playable now than it was pre-1.2. I've been loving Skyrim on the PS3 since day one, but pretending that there's anything positive to say about it, that the PS3 version outperforms the others in any other way, is insulting to the people who've had to suffer with the buggy mess until it was patched to playable standards.

Positivity is good, OP. Blind naivitee is not.

PS3, 90 hours played.
I've experienced very few problems.
The only issues are minor lag entering Whiterun, and decorative house items ending up on the floor (I'm bummed that decorating is such a pain in the rear)

Other than that, smooth sailing.
