Cheap trick #1001

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:16 pm

Get your enchanting up and perked all the way, or at least all the perks that allow you to do this. Slap the 25% reduced cost of destruction and restoration on your chest, head, ring, and necklace. This obviously lets you cast those spells for free now. Find a animal, jump on a ledge where he can't reach you, and heal him in one hand while you burn him with another. If done under the right circumstances he'll just stand there and take it. Tape the buttons down on your controller and walk away for a while. Nice way to get your skill up all the way in both those schools.

Nice way to have the good spells to fall back on if you mostly use your weapons but want a decent spellsword.

Ah. I see novice...... you are obviously not familiar with the deep dark secret of the Nine Divines -- there is a 10th divine that even the Nine don't want to recognize. His name is Murphy.

* Murphy will ensure that you will fall off the ledge and die.
* Murphy will ensure that your batteries will quit at a critical moment.
* Murphy will ensure that a random encounter will attack you from behind.
* you get the picture.

murphy can kill you many ways in skyrim but he can't kill the batteries if the remote is plugged in ;)

OP you have the right idea but you lost me with luring a animal to a cliff and taping the triggers

Way too much effort for far too little return, especially in a game that's this easy anyway.

You should make a guide how to cut the amount of game play value in half.

Chances are I won't implement this trick, as I typically play as a melee warrior and this sort of trick is typically unnecessary, but I have to respond to some of those who've commented...

This is just stupid. Anyone who has played this game for a few hours can figure out a way to make the suggested procedure work. If your "murphey" were such an issue, nearly every task would be impossible. Don't be a lobster fart.

Um...then don't read posts whose titles begin with "cheap trick."

It sounds to me like the effort is quite minimal, so I disagree.
