Im guessing everyone knows what a topo map is and if youve used one when your out hiking you probably know how valuable it is to have one. Skyrims current map is pretty cool, and I quite enjoy using it, but I would love to see a Topo map version of Skyrim. Something you could possibly just toggle on. You would still be able to spot passes to cross through mountain ranges and it would seem alot more realistic then the google earth approach. Not that there is anything terribly wrong with it. Roads could be marked more clearly also, since people seem to be complaining about that. Ive always found the current map spoils alot, in terms of just adventuring and finding new spots. You can get a good idea of what your heading into just by looking at "google skyrim" map and it somewhat dampens my explorers spirit.
