the way i've played marrowwind/oblivion etc is i make a character, losly RP my plan currently i have a sneak type for skyrim, lockpicking, pickpocket, did thieves guild, doing DB and stealing everything and sitting with lots of gold, but im looking to make a new character, which will take a different path, maybe not concerning the DB (maybe ill just kill them cause it gives hella gold) or the thieves guild but, a mage, college and i join the stormcloaks, whislt doing main story line etc etc etc side quests, exploring the stuff that is a given with this type of game. i hope that makes sense.
anyway, i was thinking, probably upgrading from adept to expert, with an understanding of the game, i'd make an imperial, magic stone? or should i just omit stones cause that is for the pleebs. i was wondering if i could focus restoration, maybe heavy armor for the survivals, i'd smith like duh, get dat dragoon freshness, enchanting, im a prudent gamer, i like being rich, powerful, paying off guards. however, okay, restoration and i get a companion and really take care of it, shadow the companion, heal, i'd probably either get like, illusion or maybe alteration, but alteration would require me to be in front and proactive, whereas restoration/illusion i can heal myself/hireling and mesmer the enemies. but then again, there are moments in the game were its you and the baddie and nobody else, what then? i'd probably go weapon/magic hand wise, and lvl up something with extra perk points. does that seem viable? or is the game subjective, i dunno.
my other idea was straight up conjuration for bound weapons/alteration, heavy armor or light, probably heavy, and get in their face and boop through stuff like some mythic dawn bound summoning stuff. does anybody know if bound weapons assist your perk lvling for one handed/two etc?
