Request Dual-Wield Combat tips...

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 10:10 pm

hey guys, any advice on combat style when using dual-wield+heavy armor??i'm planning on charging kinda type character and not sneaking...

my biggest problem so far is when i encountered bear or tooth cat or chaurus,as they can insta kill us using 1 power attack on master mode, and yes i'm planning on playing master mode,hehehe...even dragons when i was level 10 can't insta kill me with their bite, and strange enough bear, cats and chaurus can put me down less in 1 second..i don't know if this is balancing problem, bugs or anything, but there's gotta be some way to work this around right??

before,i have shield+heavy armor and it didn't give much challenges when you can have time bullets every time mobs do power attacks on you...

sooo, what's the best workaround with dual-wield play-style when i met those 3 creature??i tried slow time but before they died the time comes back to normal again and they can easily launch power attack from far away and put me down for good -___-

i'd rather met 3 bandits then met one of the above i mentioned...LOL

Those creatures are generally a tough fight for low characters, so unless you have a load of health potions and tab out to drink them after every hit, I'd stay away until you're a few levels higher. As for combat tips, I went with light armour as seeing you cant block while dual wielding I could quickly back away from blows before I was hit (The Steed Stone could give you this effect in heavy armour I think). Best thing to do is enchant your weapons and armour to get as much dps out of your weapons as possible, and even use poisons if you have any. Paralysis poisons come in handy more often than not also.

At master, run like hell from sabre cats and trolls at lower levels.

i was thinking about getting windshear as they stagger and can actually be replacement of the "shield bash"...but i want to avoid faction quest at first tho...

hmmm, how about frcoe without effort??the description says 25% more staggering on enemies...does it means that the chances are 25% more often?

Well you could power level enchanting, smithing and alchemy and then come back here in the forums to complain that the game is broken and too easy.

ahahaha, the power leveling or abusing technique is yet to be used...right now i'm just trying to play normally and going with the flow of the game itself, when i can enchant i will, when i can smith i'll hammer something, whe i need potions i'll brew one, hehehehe :D
