On one of my characters with my full daedric armor i have a rateing of 2073 but on the other character i only have a rateing of 1600 or some were close to that why is this? Im on xbox

Different perks? There are perks for wearing all heavy, and for wearing a matching set in addition to a perk to boost all heavy armor types.
Different levels of Smithing upgrades?
Or maybe a Fortify Heavy Armor enchantment?

Thats what i thought at first to but all my perks are the same and i dont have fortify heavy armor on either of the sets of armor

did you improve one set with blacksmithing?

Both sets are improved with the same percent of improvement 147% from potions and 116% from enchantments on armor

maybe your potion ran out on some parts? thats the only explantion i can think of

Do you have Ancient Knowledge in yout Active Effects list? Boost smithing.

Or do you have your fortify smithing set at same level or same number of items?

Given that both far surpass the armour cap does it really matter? Both will provide exactly the same amount of protection.
