So I put off joining the companions until way late in the game.

I married Dekeethus and he was my follower. I had him pimped out with legendary glass armor and also nightingale boots and linwe's gloves and ring of sneak.


anyway, he was forced to stop following me and I worried about him walking home. never occured to me that all his 1000s of gold worth of armor would be gone when I found him!


got pissed.

thought about redoing ENTIRE dungeon with vilkas against silver bloods.

thought about cheat coding in items

then I decided what happened is this:

he went all the way to our home, no problem. decided to visit his friends in darkwater mine. on the way, he got jumped and bandits stole all his gear and he escaped with his life.

anyway, that is how I am gonna play it out.

though I think I will cheat code in those muffled nightingale boots. cause if a bandit took those, I would get them back!!

check his invenotry. it is probably just unequipped.

Yeah, followers who leave your service unequip all items. I just take one piece of equipement back, and regive, et voila, all is there, equiped ^^
