IS Skyrim bugproof yet?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 10:51 pm

Right now I'm keeping Skyrim on a shelf in my room, I won't play it until the final patch that'll fix everything gets released. I just don't want bugs to ruin my gaming experience.

Better hope you never like playing Skyrim then. gamesas typically only fixes gamebreaking bugs that can't be fixed with mods. This means that we'll see an Unoffical Skyrim Patch... eventually, but it will only be for the PC, since it's a massive mod that fixes most bugs that can be tracked.

Also, how many games *do* you play? There are practically no games out on the market that are bugproof; it's just how things go.

That's ok, you don't need to join the millions of people having complete fun with the game.

In fact, there is recently speculation that bugs in Skyrim may lead to the apocalypse, but only if they are in jars. So please do not put your copy of Skyrim in a jar.

Believe me, even with the bugs, Skyrim is the best game I've ever played; just keep back-up saves in case you encounter a bug. Reloading a save from outside the cell where the bug first appeared sometimes makes it not appear in the game.

Since 1.03 the only bugs I have had are ones involving the inability to do three miscellaneous quests; (TOWN NAMES AHEAD)

one in Falkreath, one in Riften, and one in Markarth
