On my 2nd char., Just turned the town of Markarth over to the stormcloaks. So silver blood is the jarl. My question is....A: I have the house in Markarth, after going to nthe mine and upon completion of the quest, will I still be able to live in the town?
B:( and probably the most important) The jarl says I have completed everything to be thane. Should I wait until after the quest completion to be appointed thane...or will being appointed thane before getting arrested in the shrine actually keep me from completing the quest by causing me not to be arrested?

You can live there, no problems. At the risk of spoiling it for you, the breakout is so extreme that all you have to do is hang back, let the Forsworn have a field day, and the Jarl will forgive you. Still, some people in town will occasionally say, "didn't I see you with those Forsworn?"

But no, don't worry about Vlindrel Hall.

You can also finish that quest by killing Madranach and receiving a reward from the Silver-Bloods.

If you also want Madranach's reward you can let him escort you and the others out, and just after he gives you the reward and all your stuff back (in the Dwemer ruins) you can kill him and the rest. Then upon leaving the Silver-Blood welcomes you and gives you a reward.

yup, just hang back and just pick up the spoils of the battle.
