Wuuthraad cant be improved?

So i got wuuthraad but it wont show it as an option to improve in the grinder. Is this a bug or is it normal?

Same as the Shield of Ysgrammor. If it was it'd be carrying it all the time.

Sad thing really, since it makes it less powerful than improved steel. It is still usable though, having a damage of 75 with Barbarian 5/5 and 2-handed at 100.
