As the title says, am I the only one who collects the souls of annoying NPC's in Black Soul Gems? There's something just immensely satisfying about killing the annoying ones, or the ones that don't deserve to be alive and keeping all of their souls in a chest.

I don't do it but I've heard of other players who have been doing it since Oblivion at least. I thought it was a pretty fun idea, but I can never really get into my necromancer characters past level 3.

I've been trying to get high enough enchanting where using Black Soul Gems (or Grand Soul Gems) are useful.

The funny thing is, my character isn't really a necromancer at all. He's only practiced the school of Conjuration specifically to steal the souls of these unfortunate people.

Yeah actually that was some laziness/ignorance on my part lumping necromancers in with Bethesdas version which are more accurately summoners (of Daedra)

I tend to soultrap "named" imperials into black soul gems and then drop them in random places. I just hate sellouts.

I spent three hours reading through a vast Elder Scrolls Conspiracy involving the Thalmor that led me to believe that The Blades are actually helping the Thalmor tenfold more than the Imperials, albeit unknowlingly.

I also do this. Not only did I capture Nazeem's soul but since he is such a fan of the cloud district. I dragged his body and threw it in the water under the bridge in Dragon's Reach

Not exactly, but I did make it a point to make noteworthy assassinations during the dark brotherhood questline fill the black star, which I then used to create enchanted items as mementos.

I took the emperors soul for my daedric war axe 102/27,FD but I found him to be a really nice guy.
Those ladies from Radient Raiment are going to end up in black soul gems soon too, nippy cows that they are
