i got several entries stuck in my journal that i cant seem to get rid of

first is 'investigate the bards college' - ive already completed all their quests and 'setstage MS05Start 20' didnt do anything

same thing for 'assist the people of haafingar' - im thane of solitude already and 'setstage FavorJarlsMakeFriends 35' doesnt work


am i using the wrong commands? anyone know how to fix this?

nah, the only way around that I found is releoading and do the quest again, if you've already advanced too much in the game they are stuck there forever.

now that I know, in my second and third playthrough I check the journal everytime I complete any objective (like collect bounty from someone or speak to someone), if I noticed that they didn't get away I reload, it works all the time.

that svcks, well i can avoid the one for thane of solitude but that means i cant become thane. i tried it a ton of times and everytime it stays there after im named thane

i dont even remember where the bards college one came from, since it initially disappeared when i joined them and now its suddenly back
