A Taste of Death

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 8:39 am

I hated this quest so damn much. I was trying to do a nice thing for a priest, and some crazy cannibal comes up to me. I expected an option so that I could kill her rather than join that stupid cult but no. Apparently my sister died and I ate her flesh but over the years came to shroud that event? ARE YOU KIDDING? I DID NO SUCH THING.

I ignored the quest for a while but eventually OCD got to me and I had to get it out of there. And now I'm a recognized cannibal. Fantastic.

If I WANTED to be a cannibal, yes, would be good. But I did not eat any dead relatives, I do not want to eat anyone else, but I was forced to. And a nice priest non-the-less. Worst. Quest. Ever.

It's just another in a long line of quests without branching options.

But you can talk your way out of it. Deny everything, and she'll attack you..

it won't say "attack" but you can deny it. You just didn't look hard enough.

Really? I remember choosing the option of "I'm no cannibal!" or something along those lines. Other than that it seemed pretty one-sided!

Deny, deny, deny. Deny like a dirty politician, and she'll attack you.

Everything she tells you is a lie. She's messing with your mind. None of that happened.

Oh well, I guess I got one good thing out of it; another artifact towards the Oblivion Walker achievement. I hope the ring count's anyway. o_o

But I'll never forget eating that priest. EVER. :'(

I just chose the last option when I first met her, killed her, got a useless amulet from the priest, and stopped that quest from happening, ever.
Strange enough, I found some guy standing near corpses of two farmers, a Spriggan and a deer, on a road near Riften, he called me "Champion of Namira" and asked if I wanted to eat with him, something like that. I killed him.

i didnt do it myself as I only did that quest once on a different character for oblivion walker.
I abused the saviours hide and hircine ring, and skipped volendrung.
and i think i read on a guide that you can kill all the cannibals when the priest is on the altar
