Oh Bethesda you lazy buggers. I've seen some pretty wildly crazy glitches,freezing and problems in games before, but this takes the cake.Maybe it's just my poor memory, but didn't games get tested back in the day? The freezing I can handle,not the first one that froze on me,before i picked up this waste of $58.00 plus tax plus guide that EB games never seems to have+controller i'm gonna break soon due to shear aggravation with this game, I was playing Borderlands/Red Dead Redemption and those games had their issues,but NOT like this.My main problem is the amount of quests that seem to be screwed up. I had to restart my game 2 days ago because so many were un-completable.What broke the camel's back was when I tried to do the "Oh My Papa" quest and i got 3 of the 4 objectives done and I went to talk to Melissa to get her to speak out against the Legion,she...wasn't...there...BECAUSE,as I learned after the fact,if you do her drug run mission before you do Oh My Papa,she'll be gone when you come back therefore u can't complete the quest...nice.And there were others but I don't remember or care because now I'm running a new game and I don't care. How was I supposed to know? a lot of thought put in the game-but not enough and a lack of effort as well. I'm on my second game and my friend's on his third in the 2 weeks the game's been out. His 1st game wasn't screwed up he just picked the wrong perks and wanted to change it once he got the swing of things.The second was due to glitches.Now he's on his 3rd and if this goes screwy,he said he's gonna trade 'er in.Oh, and then there's the perks. 1 Perk per 2 levels? And 100 perks to choose from...C'mon,what the hell? And how do people know when storylines are gonna cross and create a cross-story black hole where nothing can be finished. And so far by my count, my game has frozen 22 times in game(walking,jumping and such), 13 times on the forever-loading loading screen,and 5 or 6 times in VATS.***Quick stuff-items glitched into other objects,doors with no triggers to open them,writing that should be there but's not(enemy corpses that just show the name nothing else 4 ex.),lagging in VATS,missing at point blank range in VATS(at lv 30 btw w/ high PER) arrgh...so much I can't name it all...all's I can say is SHAME,SHAME on you for this game.I have God of War 3 to finish I think I'll take a break from 1st person shooters for a while,thanks to you of course.And I'm sure you're going to put out a bunch of expansions for $9.99 a piece plus tax-so,$11.50 a piece,probably what...4 of them? So then I'm supposed to pay you $65 bucks plus $11.50x4 for a game that's not worth being used as a doorstop? and then out comes the GoTYE for $49.99 in a year's time after I spent $105-$110 bucks on my version...I'd say for this disgrace of a game you should at least give a free DLC to all the svckers who bought your "test" copies of F:NV. Otherwise,I'll trade it in and wait till the GoTYE comes out and buy that one which'll be cheaper and bugless with all the trimmings..but then,if everybody did that,you'd have no GAME OF THE YEAR huh? Maybe the next one--Fallout:Miami,or Fallout: Texas Chainsaw Massacre whatever, you'll put a bit more effort into it and not use the buyers as game testers and make it worthy of being a GoTY. But this abomination-no def not worth an honourable mention. (B.L.)
