I Just entered windhelm and triggered the blood on the ice quest line, however I also have the Axe the jarl of whiterun gave me to give to Ulfric. Should I give the Axe to Ulfric before I go any further with blood on ice, or should I wait until I finish it?? I know there have been lots of issues with this quest, so I wanted to check here before I went any further, my first play through I never even had the quest trigger.

anyone?? I just wanna know if Ill screw anything up if I give Ulfric the Axe and initiate the defense of WhiteRun quest (Im an Imperial). As it stands Im holding off until I finish blood on the ice.

So far there have been no reported bugs relating to the stormcloaks side of the civil war quest in relation to Blood on the Ice.

Edit: If you do side with the Imperial Legion, make sure to at least start the BotI quest before you complete it, else you will lock yourself out of the quest.
