Depends if you're willing to make do with armour until you reach 100. If you're willing to suffer worse light armour for more perks in other areas, go heavy, get the weapons you need and then at 100 craft some Legendary Dragonscale light.

Heavy for the weapons, you get better sneaking armor outside smithing and daedric weapons are always nice.

Do all of it. It's only one skill point per tier and you don't have to make all the armor.

I prefer Skyforge Steel weapons.

svcks though that you cannot smith skyforge daggers. I had planned on only using skyforge weapons until I found out that you cannot smith the daggers. Hopefully they will fix that in a future patch.

Yea thought about it too, but imho it's waste of perks if you don't even use them to make armor that you don't need.

Basically Its a choice - weapons or armor (in your situation)

When i had to choose, i chose Light armor skill perk cause weapons are easier to find, than all armor set :ermm:

The heavy armor path is eventually better for light armor wearers because you'll have the daedric weapon perk as well as the dragonscale perk - which is actually better than it's predecessor, unlike dragonbone armor.
