So I was thinking about Smithing and Enchanting...

Wouldn't your adept difficulty be virtuously the same as expert if you didn't use smithing and enchanting? It's like you spend all that endless time and wasting perks when all it does is make the game too easy and you end up having to raise up the difficulty in essence making your destruction spells even more nerfed, and instead of enchanting all my stuff to give me more magica....I can you know stop by the radiant raiment, buy some enchantments and put more points into magika because I won't need so much health since the game won't be too insanely hard.

Basically what I'm saying is:

Enchanting + Smithing = game too easy

Game too easy = raising difficulty

Raising Difficulty = wasting more points into health instead of magica

Raising Difficulty = Destruction spells become even weaker

Raising Difficulty = wasting more perks
----------------------------------------

I had the same logic with armor perks and I stopped ever touching them again:

Armor perks = more resistance but your stuck with a certain class of armor and matching set

More Resistance = game too easy

Game too easy = you get the picture.....

I dont follow your logic.

I do use enchanting and smithing, there's no problem with it if you dont op level it. Just use things you gathered, dont go shop to shop to buy iron and spam daggers. Dont rise them to 100 in lvl 10. Scale the skill to your level, self control.

But i do believe things should change abit about them, exploits etc.

I dont follow your logic.

basically what I am saying is, like armor perks, I will never touch smithing or enchanting again because all it does is make the game far too easy and then I end up raising up my difficulty.

So my logic is, I don't bother with those skills, I save time and I don't have to raise my difficulty that nerfs my destruction spells in the process.

Well, i'm playing on master always, maybe thats the reason i dont understand your problem. I am leveling smithing and enchanting, proportional to my level, lets say i'm lvl 20, i wont pass smithing skill 50, use some elven gear only. This way game is still hard, depending on encounter. Some bandit chiefs will still 1shot me with their huge weapons, can't go mlee fight with a giant/mamoth etc.

Yeah, it's pop-a-mole once you get started but it's hard to draw a clear line on where to stop. I'm trying to design a reasonable character right now that can top out around level 25 without using enchanting and just a little smithing. Haven't got it quite right yet though.

My expert level difficulty game is too easy on expert because I'm at level 60 with all enchanting perks and 100 smith skill with crazy enchnated elven armor and weapons.

I'm gonna make a new character on adept where I DO NOT TOUCH those skills at all. My game would probably be more challenging and in the process not turn my sparks spell into noodles.

In my new game Im using Smithing but only upgrading my armor to flawless and never stack potions. I completely avoid enchanting. So far playing in expert, everything seems pretty balances.

You can still use Smithing but dont max it out so you can still enjoy loot. Also play in expert, not adept.

I need you to exactly explain how you leveled Smithing and Enchanting. Where did you get the materials, what did you make, how many did you make, and what did you do with them?
