keep all the enchanted items you find, soul gems and what not and disenchant them, and buy soul trap asap and soul trap everything and enchant everything. With the enchanting high, as long as you know the right enchantments you can make powerful items.

What are the best enchantments to say, make my sword or something exceed 100 damage?

You'd need fortify one handed/two handed gauntlets etc.

I had 2 deadric swords which done 140 damage per hit, but I started again because everything got so easy. I've seen someone get a deadric warhammer over the 600 mark...
