Story's are black and white...

(please no spoilers)

I've noticed that a lot of the story's seem black and white... But it's not just that either. They all have really weird pros and cons. In which I don't mind, but I feel that a lot of the choices you can make are interesting, but what about that grey area?!

I don't like option A because that's just wrong!
I don't like option B because I have morals...
WHAT! No option C?!

And what kills me is that on a lot of situations where you have a choice, there seems to be a logical plan you could go with if givin the option.

I'm not really complaining, just pointing out that some of bethesdas games DID in fact have the grey area, but felt the need to leave it out of skyrim... Don't know why, but when they add there DLC I would like to see more choices. I don't want to feel like I'm being forced to pick an option I don't agree with...

Really, only FO3 had any major "grey" area, even then it is a stretch to call it "grey"

I have to agree with this. But also, Bethesda's strong point has been open end sand box game worlds, not story telling. I'm not disagreeing with you, on the contrary, I agree 100%.

I'm just saying that's not their strength.

What's grey? and how aren't the choices you have now grey? Maybe grey is doing nothing and just sitting there.

The game doesn't have enough neutral options. You always have to do something for or against. Sometimes you just don't care, but that's not possible in this game.

Well a grey area can definitely mean not doing a certain task, but then we are left with nothing but an open choice, or rather a quest.

Bethesda does have the ability to give use an alternate way to complete such tasks.

If your confronted with a choice there should be a way to throw that choice away and offer a better solution. Your character IS the dragonborn and DOES have influence. I feel this influence should carry more weight.

IE: NPC ask you to go do X task to another NPC. If that task is morally good, or bad... if your character is a good, or bad then that may be alright. Although if your character doesn't like either out come then there should be an option to... maybe persuade someone that it would be best to do X.

Even if it's a chance...

In oblivion I've never felt that I was forced to make a choice I didnt want to. FO3 had some alternatives, and NV had some alternatives. Perhaps there trying new ways of story telling, and I don't dislike it. I also enjoy thinking about what would be a better choice, but I feel there were too few options. That's all. It's an open world game in which it should have a story to reflect it.

It's not very open if I have to only go left or right. Don't get me wrong I'm not asking for a million different options with a million different scenarios, but don't make me feel like im picking which poision of only two would be better to kill myself with. If I'm making a big choice then I want options, and two don't cut it.
