No, they are the giant rat of Skyrim.

Unless you get swarmed they shouldn't be too hard, try drawing a few away from the pack if your having trouble.

Yeah the normal ones should go down in one or 2 hits, can be a nuisance if they're in a group, tend to sneak up on you also. But like he said Venomous Skeevers are the ones to watch out for.

I'm having no issues (expert difficulty). Are you very early in the game or something?

edit: Oh it was a prank (of sorts). I feel so used.

I've never had a problem with them. I two hit kill them with an elven dagger on master difficulty..

Skeevers are bad when you have just killed a very tough vampire who has sapped you of nearly all of your life, and the hidden skeever lunges and finishes you, robbing you of victory.

Ever played Gothic 3 and tried to kill a Boar? then you know what overpowerd means ^^

Skeever are pretty easy to kill. The only creature which is really strong are sabre cats.

Out of all the creatures in the game, skeevers are the only thing that scare me the most. Other than that they are aren't a serious problem.

Venomous skeevers on the other hand are nasty

I kill them in one hit with anything, they are irritating that they give you a disease rather easily.

They just sound powerful. When i got hit from one in the back when i wasn't paying attention. It sounds like a high-pitched Cave Bear mauled me in the back, even though it did like no damage. Scared the living [censored] out of me alright.

Yeah, I agree. Except they're pretty fast, and, because of my uncoordination, I svck at hitting things :3
