Crafting robes please?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 6:43 pm

Hey everyone, I own a console and in no way can I afford a PC for mods but I hope to see this topic grow bigger so maybe Bethesda will actually see it, I finally got 100 enchanting for my mage and was crazy happy to finally enchant me some Thalmor or Mythic Dawn robes along with brotherhood armor gloves and boots, but was totally shattered to find out that I can't enchant pre enchanted items. So I was wondering if anyone else would love to see some kind of crafting robes or even to be able to blank the enchantment slots so you and I could look like badass mages. Also if Bethesda sees this. Please I would REALLY love to see some way of craft able robes. Thank you for reading.

I would like to have the option to create clothes: actually its something I have always wanted in TES.

Crafting4Robes have a fishy stick.

Agreed.

There's always been linen or clothe in the game.. but they're just useless items. It'd make sense to have different colors of them + a sewing/stitching station be able to make pants, shoes (though you might need more than clothe for some decent ones), shirts, robes, etc.

Did that never click for Bethesda or did they look at it and give it a big 'meh'.

I agree, the idea of cloth crafting has always escaped Bethesda in the creation of their games.

That being said, there are a TON of unenchanted cloth items in Skyrim worthy of a double-enchantment. On my stealth archer I've come across at least 50 different items, and I'm sure there are plenty more. Any pre-enchanted item, regardless of armor type, is not enchantable. It's probably a coding thing. Look up the cloth items on UESP.net or TESwiki, you won't be upset with the results.

They have ALMOST everything at Radiant Raiment.

If you want specifically Thalmor robes and Mythic Dawn robes then that won't help you.
