Favourite Quest?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 5:01 pm

As the topic says, what was your favourite quest? But please dont give away spoilers. Say the name of the quest and any further information needed if the quest name is a bit vague. For example my favourite quest so far is Forsworn Conspiracy because it was interesting and you could make choices in it

Elder knowledge. For two main reason's. 1. It feel's epic to me ( no fast traveling ) 2. were you go, one of my favorite places.

I liked The Mind of Madness quite a lot. It had some charming Alice in Wonderland vibe to it.

Yeah, that one is cool as hell too.

I would've liked it a lot better if you didn't have to stand right on the arrows. I actually figured out what I was supposed to do, but in two of the areas (night terrors and confidence) I wasn't completing the tasks so I ended up looking at one of the wikis only to find out that I was supposed to be standing directly on the arrows. Kind of a bug that made me feel like a dumba$$ I guess.

Recently I've just been exploring random dungeons and the quests they trigger are often lots of fun.
I can't remember the names but there is one where a hagraven named Melka asks you to help her reclaim her tower, another with the Pale Lady described in the Lost Legends book, one where you help a lord reclaim his castle, a necromancer woman who needs rescuing from her own kind, and many others. I enjoy stumbling across little quests with interesting characters just by exploring.

The Forsworn Conspiracy was pretty interesting as it goes pretty deep on the Forsworn and Markarth's corrupt guards. Like all others, I liked the whole Hangover-vibe A Night To Remember had to it. Another good one is Discerning the Transmundane, which is essentially Elder Knowledge, but with a little tail to it, and some Daedric flavour too. It leads past what I think are the best Dwemer ruins in the game, and of course Blackreach.

It would be a toss up between A Night to Remember and Discerning the Transmundane. The latter probably scores higher points for being such a long task, and the amount of gear you can pick up on route... and not forgetting the prize.

A Night To Remember was the best. Absolutely. It seems 95% of the people here feel that way. ;)
I agree the Forsworn Conspiracy/Escape from Cidhna Mine (or smth) was epic too, long, nice, quest. And different from your typical "go there and kill someone" quests.
Mind of Madness has been mentioned...

Only quest I miss here is Blindsighted. Thieves Guild quest in Irkngthand... really impressed me!

A Night to Remember.

Mine too.

I wish there were more fun quests like this in the game and more drinking contests

I also enjoyed the Forsworn Conspiracy/Escape from Cidhna Mine quests. It was good to find out more about the Forsworn.

I also liked Blood on the ice. It was good to need to do a quest before I got my house and parts of it were pretty scary.

A Night to Remember.

indeed.

wish more quest's had this whimsical feel to them. And people got mad @ me for doing it and the world felt alive as I tried to find out what I did the night before lol.

As best as I can tell from the dialogue, and the fact that we awoke in the Temple of Dibella, I think we were there trying to get laid seeing that the Temple of Dibella is the closest thing to a sorority house in Skyrim.

I've definitely had nights like that quest, so it was also a bit personal for me; it really reminded me of this one time at a university party involving several pairs of panties, an American tourist who really liked Insane Clown Posse, and Belgian tourists.
