I am on the main quest line mission, The Fallen, and when I use the shout Dragon Call Odahviing won't come. I have tried doing other things and coming back but nothing. When I first tried the mission I was a lvl 17 and when I tried it again I was a lvl 23.

How do I get past this if there is anyway possible. Please I need your help.

If you're on a PC, you can go to this website, about half-way down the main page where it talks about Console Commands for the PC. You'll be able to advance the quest to whatever point you need it to be.

This is definitely a 360 bug,the only real course of action is restart,i don't have the game on console but does it give individual save or is it automatic save to one file?

I played it through on the 360 console and had over a 1400 count on my manual saves because I NEVER TRUST ANY developer to rely on autosaving over old saves and I was afraid something like what this person is experiencing would be my end too. If you have a manual save though why can't you go back to it. Why do you have to start the whole game over again? That would have killed me if I had come across a game-breaking bug--I didn't.

I actually turned off a couple of the auto-save features and preferred remember to make them often manually.

If it can help you feel better you are not the only one restarting a game.

I was at level 30 and some when I realized that my Staff of Magnus had litterally been swalowed by a weapon rack in Breeze Home. I put a topic on this forum about it and learned that it was a bug. I also was travelling with a book from Winterhold College stuck in my inventory. When Tolfdir asked me to go settle a magical anomaly saying: I hope you still have your Staff of Magnus... Not knowing I could have done without it, I decided to start a new game.

But don't worry, as you already know what to do in certain cases, you'll level up quickly and gain more experience. You can even start with a better character having some immunities or else...Good luck.

are you sure you waited long enough after you called him? It took forever for him to appear for me when i shouted. i had time to run in a circle, talk to a few people, pickpocket the jarl...it must have been like two minutes, realtime, but it felt like ages.

wait until whiterun's jarl comes back to dragonsearch, talk to him first and then go outside WITH HIM and call the dragon, it should work
