I used to have a horse I bought at whiterun, then I took Frost from the riften quest, and now my old horse disappeared. I went back to whiterun stables and it is not there, wheres my old horse?

I think i have a different situation tho I did not lose my horse by letting it attack something I lost it after doing the steal Frost quest, I now I have frost but not my old horse.

so is there anyway I can find my old horse? I read on google that they are supposed to go back to the stable you bought them at but it is not there ? :S

I've not bought a horse in Skyrim yet so can't answer this, but in Oblivion if you fast travelled to a town the horse would be in that towns stables. Have you tried this in Skyrim?
