So yeah, I'm quite a huge RPer and am a great fan of the Dark Brotherhood. I've made a Khajiit named Ra'Thel. He's going to join the DB, but I barely have any reasons why he should do so. I've already thought about these reasons.

1. Ice cold blood money.
2. Death of the Emperor.

The reason why I won't use is that I've already did these, the first in oblivion and the second in Skyrim. Now, I need to find a new reason for a Khajiit to join them. Also, I don't have a good backstory for him. He's going to be a calm, wise, skilled, naive kind of guy.

Has any of you RPed a DB member?

In terms of #2, I don't see how your character would know that's even possible without progressing through the DB quest line.

I also don't know how a character can be both wise and naive.

Some reasons why someone would pursue membership in a shadowy cabal of assassins
- an unorthodox religious perspective that holds the DB as executors of some diving necessity
- an unorthodox artistic aesthetic that holds assassination as the ultimate representation of mortal capacity
- an unorthodox view on justice: how it is determined and how it is executed
- a philosophical outlook wherein life is cheap. The ability to preserve your own and end others is the only real power one can acquire.
