Paarthurnax? Should I?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 7:57 pm

I totally refused to kill Paarthurnax at the end of the Main quest. I liked him. He was pretty cool. I think the Blades are ***holes!

But I am currently at a point where I can't find anything at all left to do in the game (other than the mage quests which need the magic skills to be at 90 to get them).

I've been debating on whether or not I should go do the dirty deed and report back to Delphine just for the sake of playing more.

My question is:

Does anyone think the DLC's would have anything to do with Paarth or the Blades?

My guess is the DLC will won't "take sides" on major decisions in game. They want everyone to buy DLC, not just those who completed a quest a certain way.

Yeah, I've already killed over 100 dragons in my game. I stopped collecting bones and scales after the 1st 50.

I was wondering if the Blades let you recruit more members other than the three you recruit early on in the quest line.

I'm tired of my housecarl in Markarth checking out my wife!! lol I want to get him to join the Blades!

I can't bring myself to do it - he helped me and he's trying to redeem himself so I can't do it especially since we're Dragonborn and have little more insight into 'dragon culture' than the Blades do.

I married Muiri on my chick so she's not into dudes, but I do get a little suspicious when she's sitting at the table in his bedroom. I'll have to keep an eye for an Amulet of Mara in his belongings. :P

I married Miuri too. I actually caught her sleeping in his bed once when i came home after a long day of dungeon exploring. I've yet to see her sleep in MY bed or even get the "Lovers Comfort" perk.

I knew I should have married the chick from Dibellas temple!! (She's pretty hot without that hood on)!!

I couldn't bring myself to kill Paarth, he's awesome, as are the Greybeards, while the Blades are just blind fanatics.

I killed him twice. Why? Because there is no separate "Kill the blades" quest to counter the parthunax quest. If there was, I would go for that one, at least once to try it out

:o

Oh, hell no! We'd have a come to Jesus talk that would start something like this: "Hey, Chickey, you remember how and why we met?".

I actually slept in our bed together once, but still didn't get the Lover's Comfort perk. <_<

I'd rather kill Esbern and Delphine but apparently Bethesda doesn't want that.

Just ignore the Baldes. Feel free to steal Dragonbane, it is a nice weapon.

I always take it when I first arraive, not owned by anyone at that time.
Paarthurnax refused to die when I tried. Just sat there and let me stab him with Mehrune's Razor. Over and over again. And still alive.
