Well, I'm about done with this game

Apparently, not all of the containers in Breezehome are safe. I didn't know this. I lost 60+ Nirnroots and a bunch of daedra hearts as well as hundreds of other alchemy ingredients because the cupboard in the back by the alchemy room reset on me. I thought the houses were safe. It's MY HOUSE. I just feel like I've wasted over 60 hours of ingredient collecting and playing to find out that much of my precious loot has vanished. This happening to anyone else?

I've had the same problem storing things in my room at the college of magic.

The only safe place I know of is in a chest in Breezehome or other purchased houses.

Strange. I've used a large number of containers in Breezehome and the College of Winterhold (archmage quarters and initial quarters) with no problems, despite having used both for about ~30 levels. I've seen a number of containers outside of these places reset, but never the ones in these locations.

I also haven't had any problems in the Riften home, and I've had that one for about ten levels.

Absolute b.s.

I have five characters that haven't lost a single thing in the college or Whiterun's Breezehome, in fact... I have so much crap in there it would be a blessing to "lose" some stuff.

IF it did happen, it surely is rare.

Then again, I don't know...

From what I keep reading this game is broken and unplayable, especially on PS3.

Someone needs to remind my copy of Skyrim and my Playstation of this, 'cause they must be the immaculate second coming of Christ for not having gamebreaking bugs.

Haven't experienced this myself. Looks safe enough to me, and will continue to use them if I get Breezehome again.

Hasn't happened but if it did, I would simply cheat back what I lost.
Outta luck if you're on a console though.

I actually stored much of my stuff in a chest in the "secret room" in the Inn at Riverrun (heh) and I've never had it reset on me.
